Construction vibration about to begin ....

SNF Lab Members:

We have just received notice that they will be tearing up more concrete
on Via Pueblo starting shortly and scheduled to last for a period of
about 2 hours. Ebeam, SEM, high-resolution lithography and AFM
operations may be affected.

While we would like to be able to notify you earlier in the process we
were at least notified before the vibrations began this time. We will
hope to do better as this project progresses.

Note: Jim McVittie is working with our Wilcoxon 731A high-sensitivity
accelerometer to see if we can quantify the magnitude of the vibration
this time around in hopes of providing better information as to exactly
how disruptive these construction activities are.

Thanks,

John
