Problem p5000etch SNF 2010-03-10 21:02:05: Ch. B burning resist

I ran some dummy wafers similar to wafers I etched 3 days ago and saw significant burning / roughening of resist.
Is this possibly due to the addition of the spacer under the quartz ring in the chamber? Resist burns from the outside in quite rapidly.
